In 2012, noted hip-hop music video director Ryan Simmons shot what was to be the greatest music video of all time. The artist was Rob Crooks who was debuting his all girl backing band "Rob's Ravishers." After an epic shoot, the video was lost, along with one of the members of his band at a now infamous foam party fire Crooks had arranged to premiere the video. Simmons and Crooks went into hiding.
In 2014 Open City Cinema discovered the two at an underground sex club in Beijing, where Simmons was managing Crooks, and coaxed them out of hiding. At their expense, OCC recreated the grand set of their video at little expense at a Chinese studio and even found a bootleg copy of the software used to create 'hologram Tupac' to bring Rob's band back to life.
